Ali Shilandari is an award-winning Iranian producer and director based in Iran. Prior to making his first feature length documentary, Fading Portraits, he worked as a cinematographer for several films such as Cypher and Lion and "Jenayateh Movajah". He is also one of the founding members of Isfahan’s Society of Photographers.
Farhad Mohammadi is a Management Consultant based in Chicago. Farhad was inspired to become involved in creative projects that promote Iranian artists after hearing stories of how his grandfather started a newspaper in the 1950s, in his hometown of Jahrom, to help people be more informed about local and current events. Farhad has taken film classes at NYU and ICP, founded a Management Consulting company (FYI Consulting), a record label (KEI Records), and managed the indie rock bands Dead Heart Bloom and Phaser.
Boris Skalsky is a musician, composer, and songwriter releasing and writing music through a number of projects. His work ranges from the quiet folk of solo acoustic releases, ambient rock of bands Dead Heart Bloom and Phaser, contemporary classical instrumental works, and experimental electronics of the synth collective Tiger Mountain. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, Boris has written and performed for the concert stage. His music has been featured in both television and film. www.borisskalsky.com
